🐺 About the Experiences
Are you open to the public?
No. We are not a public zoo and we do not offer general admission.
We are a private licensed collection and rescue centre, and visits are only available through our pre-booked wolf experiences.
What experiences do you offer?
We currently offer:
- European Wolf Experience
- Wolf Hybrid Experience
- Wolf Feeding Experience
- Overnight Wolf Experience
Each experience is designed to give visitors a unique opportunity to learn about wolves while supporting the animals in our care.
Are the experiences private?
Yes. Every booking is exclusive to you and your group. We do not mix different bookings together.
Can I meet a real wolf?
Yes. Our European Wolf Experience allows you to enter the enclosure with one of our hand-reared European wolves under the supervision of an experienced keeper.
All interaction is on the wolf’s terms, and their welfare always comes first.
Will I be able to stroke the wolf?
Possibly. Our wolves choose how much interaction they would like.
If they are relaxed and comfortable, you may have the opportunity to stroke them. We never force interaction.
🚗 Booking & Arrival
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled experience.
This gives you time to park, check in and get ready so your experience can begin promptly.
Why can’t we arrive earlier than 10 minutes before our booked experience?
Our wolf experiences are carefully scheduled to ensure the best possible experience for both visitors and animals.
We ask that you arrive no more than 10 minutes before your booked time, as we may be finishing another experience, caring for the animals, or preparing for your visit.
As we are not a public attraction, there are no facilities or viewing areas available while you wait.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free on-site parking is available for visitors attending a pre-booked experience.
Full arrival and parking instructions will be included in your booking confirmation.
Is there public transport to your site?
Yes, although we recommend checking services carefully before you travel.
The nearest train station is Bradford-on-Avon, which has regular services from Bath, Bristol, Salisbury and surrounding areas. From there, our site is approximately a 10-minute taxi journey.
There is also the D1x bus service, which stops nearby. However, this service is not always reliable, so we strongly recommend allowing extra time and checking the latest timetable before travelling.
Do you have a café or gift shop?
No. As we are a small private licensed collection and rescue centre, we do not have a café or gift shop on site.
If you are travelling a long distance, we recommend bringing a drink with you, particularly during warmer weather.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, your dog may travel with you and remain in your vehicle during your visit, provided they are settled, comfortable and quiet throughout your experience.
Please bear in mind that our wolves do howl, and some dogs may find this stressful or unsettling. We ask owners to carefully consider whether their dog would be happy being left in the vehicle while wolves are nearby.
For the safety and welfare of all animals, visitor dogs must not be taken out of the vehicle or brought into the experience areas.
👨👩👧 Spectators & Visitors
Can someone come with me without taking part?
For our European Wolf Experience, one spectator may accompany you for £20.
They will watch from our viewing tower, enjoy the keeper’s educational talk and have a good view of the experience and the wolves.
We do not recommend bringing very young children or children below school age as spectators. They may find it difficult to remain quiet, and noise or movement can distract the wolves from interacting with the participant.
Can I spectate the Wolf Hybrid Experience?
Unfortunately, no.
The Wolf Hybrid Experience is designed to be an interactive experience between the participant, the wolf hybrid and the keeper.
If a spectator walks alongside the group, they are actively taking part. If they walk behind, this may distract the wolf hybrid during the walk.
For this reason, spectators are not permitted on the Wolf Hybrid Experience.
Can I spectate the Wolf Feeding Experience?
Unfortunately, no.
The Wolf Feeding Experience is a participant-only activity, and spectators are not permitted for safety reasons.
Can I just visit to see the animals?
No. To keep disturbance to our rescue animals to a minimum, visits are only available through our pre-booked experiences.
👕 On the Day
What should I wear?
Please wear old, practical outdoor clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy, dusty or covered in wolf hair.
We recommend:
- Long trousers
- Sturdy closed-toe footwear
- Warm layers in colder weather
- Waterproof clothing if rain is forecast
The experience takes place on natural ground, which may be uneven, muddy or slippery depending on the weather.
Is there anything I shouldn’t wear?
Yes. For your safety and the welfare of our wolves, please do not wear:
- Shorts
- Open-toe shoes, sandals or high heels
- Faux fur clothing or accessories
- Smart or delicate clothing that you do not want to get dirty or damaged
Before your experience, we also ask that you remove all facial and ear piercings, as these can attract unwanted attention from curious wolves and may present a safety risk.
Visitors who do not follow our clothing and jewellery requirements may be unable to take part in the experience.
Can I take photographs?
Yes. We encourage visitors to take photographs and videos during their experience.
Our keeper will also be happy to help take photographs where possible.
What happens if it rains?
Our experiences go ahead in most weather conditions.
Wolves are often more active in cooler or wet weather. If severe weather makes the experience unsafe, we will contact you to rearrange your booking.
♿ Children & Accessibility
How old do you need to be?
The minimum age for our Wolf Hybrid Experience is 10 years old.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
If you are unsure which experience is most suitable, please contact us before booking.
Are your experiences accessible?
Please contact us before booking if you have any mobility requirements.
We will always do our best to accommodate visitors wherever it is safe to do so, and some experiences may be adapted depending on individual needs.
🎁 Gift Vouchers & Bookings
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes. Gift vouchers make a fantastic gift and can be purchased through our website.
The recipient’s name does not need to be added until they book their experience, making them the perfect present for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and other special occasions.
How long are gift vouchers valid?
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed and used within this six-month period.
We recommend booking your experience well in advance of the expiry date, as availability can be limited during busy periods.
If exceptional circumstances arise that may prevent you from using your voucher before it expires, please contact us before the expiry date. While we cannot guarantee an extension, we will always consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
Do you offer refunds?
Bookings and gift vouchers are non-refundable.
If exceptional circumstances prevent you from attending, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always try to help where we can, although rebooking cannot be guaranteed.
🐺 About Our Wolves
Are your wolves rescued?
Many of the animals living with us have been rescued from difficult situations and are given lifelong care.
Our experiences help fund their food, veterinary treatment, specialist enclosures and ongoing welfare.
Are wolves dangerous?
Wolves are powerful wild animals and deserve respect.
Safety is our highest priority, and every experience is carefully supervised by experienced keepers. We only allow interactions that are safe for both our visitors and our animals.
Why don’t all of your wolves meet visitors?
Not every wolf enjoys human interaction.
Many of our rescued wolves have experienced difficult starts in life and prefer to live peacefully without direct contact.
We always put the welfare of each individual animal first.
How do our experiences help the animals?
Every booking directly supports the rescue animals in our care.
Your visit helps provide food, veterinary care, enclosure maintenance, enrichment and lifelong care for animals in need.
